Introduction
X-Square Capital needed more funded accounts. The product was strong, the market was there, but paid acquisition wasn't compounding it was flatlining. Monthly new account volume had been inconsistent for over a year, with no clear system connecting the website, the ad platforms, and the conversion funnel.
Incrementalist entered in May 2025. The first three months looked quiet from the outside. The numbers barely moved. But underneath, everything was being rebuilt.

The challenge
Volume without a system
X-Square had been running paid media, but without a unified acquisition architecture. The website was institutional, not built for conversion. Campaign structure was generic — no segmentation by persona or funnel stage. And there was no measurement connecting what happened after the click to what the platforms were optimizing for.The result: spend going in, inconsistent results coming out. The kind of problem you can't solve by increasing budget.
The Strategy
build the system, then let it compound
Incrementalist didn't start by scaling spend. We started by rebuilding the foundation knowing that the first months would look slow, but that a properly built system compounds over time.
Three workstreams ran in parallel:
Funnel UX Architecture
Redesigned the entire web experience from institutional to acquisition-first. Clear conversion paths, reduced friction, and every page built to move users from awareness to funded account. The funnel was instrumented end-to-end: pixels tracking completed registrations and funded deposits, feeding high-quality signals back to Meta and Google for smarter optimization.
Andromeda-Fed Creative Strategy
Instead of chasing UGC trends, we leaned into what we callEnterprise Generated Content leveraging X-Square's own team, credibility, and brand authority as the creative engine. Real people from the company, speaking to real pain points, produced at volume and structured by funnel stage. Andromeda, our creative diversification framework, ensured the algorithm always had fresh signal to optimize against.
Full Funnel Measurement
Every campaign was connected to downstream business events. No vanity metrics. The platforms learned what a quality user looked like, not just someone who clicked, but someone who signed up, deposited, and funded an account.

What made the difference
Patience to rebuild the foundation
The first three months showed minimal movement. Most would have panicked or pivoted. We stayed the course because we knew the system was being built correctly.
Enterprise Generated Content > UGC
For B2B fintech, credibility beats casualness. Real team members, real expertise, structured production. That's what converted.
Systems compound, tactics don't
We didn't look for hacks. We built a measurement infrastructure that fed quality signals back to the platforms, creating a flywheel that accelerates over time.

Manifesto
Paid media system is broken. And everyone knows it.
Ad Platforms became attribution machines. Claiming credit for every touchpoint, rewarding you for spending more, not for growing more. Their only incentive is your next dollar in.
Acquisition teams operate in silos. Paid has no say in the funnel it feeds. Creative has no loop back from paid. Each owns its metric. Nobody owns the outcome.
Agencies charge for doing, not for thinking. No motivation to challenge. No discomfort. No pushback. Just execution, reports, and invoices.
The result: millions spent on advertising that no CFO can connect to a business outcome.
We believe in one principle.
Every dollar of ad spend should show up in the P&L.
Whether it's optimizing costs, increasing revenue, or acquiring new customers. If it doesn't move the business, it doesn't belong in the budget.
We don't scale spend because spend is available. We scale when the unit economics say we should.
We own paid growth end-to-end. Because paid media is the fastest way to discover what works and what doesn't. It generates volume, it tests hypotheses, it exposes funnel gaps, and it reveals whether a business is ready to scale or needs to fix something first. That's not media buying. That's growth consulting with real money on the line.
This is incrementalist.
